B3, a Web3 gaming ecosystem founded by former Coinbase employees, has announced a strategic investment in Andromeda Insights, a gaming PC manufacturer. The investment marks B3’s entry into the gaming hardware market and aims to support its broader strategy of offering an integrated gaming ecosystem.
The partnership will result in the launch of a new high-performance gaming PC designed for the crypto community, set to debut later in 2025. The device will be equipped with features specifically tailored to crypto users, including a built-in hardware wallet, instant internet disconnect capabilities, and a dual-storage system. One of the drives will include a self-destruct mechanism designed to securely wipe sensitive data when needed.
Andromeda Insights initially operated in the crypto sector before shifting to gaming hardware production in 2022.
With this acquisition, B3 and Andromeda Insights plan to bridge high-end gaming hardware with security features relevant to crypto users, aiming to support secure, Web3-enabled gaming experiences.
