Billionaire Crypto Bull Mike Novogratz Discusses XRP and Cardano: “The Reason They Still Exist…”

Billionaire investor and Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz made noteworthy assessments about XRP and cryptocurrency communities in a program he attended.

Novogratz said the biggest reason XRP is still around is because of “a strong marketing team and plenty of capital.”

Novogratz stated that XRP has built strong brand awareness with the revenue generated from its ICO, saying, “The XRP army is as committed to its coins as the Bitcoin community is to Bitcoin. This is all about tribalism. Crypto has created a tribal culture all its own.”

Describing Bitcoin and other crypto assets as “community movements,” Novogratz said that trust around the world rapidly decreased after the 2008 crisis, paving the way for the emergence of the crypto ecosystem.

Novogratz noted that projects like Cardano, along with XRP, are similarly sustained by strong community support, highlighting Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s role in building this community. He also highlighted the tenacity shown by XRP advocates in the US lawsuit against Ripple, noting that attorney John Deaton tweets almost nine times a day to defend the case.

Novogratz, who stated that “community creates investment value” in the cryptocurrency market, said, “This is also the case with stocks like Tesla or Palantir. But crypto has taken the concept of community to a whole new level. XRP is still one of the most valuable assets in the market because people truly believe in it.”

Novogratz emphasized that Bitcoin’s “digital gold” narrative is the strongest trend, saying, “Bitcoin has a simple story: digital gold against the devaluation of fiat currency. Don’t change this narrative. Let Ethereum, Celestia, or other projects tell their own stories. Bitcoin’s story is already the best.”
