Leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins started the critical week, in which important US economic data will be released, with an increase.

BTC has surged over 3% in the last 24 hours, surpassing $122,000 and coming very close to its previous ATH.

Bitcoin, which last broke a record by exceeding $123,000 on July 14, has entered an uptrend today, and the market is closely watching whether it can reach a new ATH again.

While Ethereum (ETH), which has increased by 22% in the last 7 days, continues its rise, a green picture also dominated the altcoins.

While major altcoins remained relatively calm, some altcoins recorded large gains.

According to CoinMarketCap data, Polyhedra Network (ZKJ) and ZORA were among the altcoins that experienced the most gains.

ZKJ ranked first with a 78.4% increase, followed by ZORA in second place with a 45.4% increase.

They were followed by Graphite Protocol (GP) with a 38.6% increase and LayerZero (ZRO) with a 22.5% increase.

Ethereum’s Big Breakout!

While ZKJ and ZORA attracted attention with their rise among altcoins, the altcoin king Ethereum rose to 22nd place in the global asset rankings with the great rise it has experienced in recent days.

Ethereum’s market capitalization reached $522.3 billion, surpassing global companies like Mastercard and Netflix.

ETH has recently surpassed $4,000 with its renewed upward trend and is very close to its 2021 ATH.
