Is the CIA Behind Bitcoin? A Famous American Makes High-Stakes Claims!

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson reiterated his skeptical stance on Bitcoin.

Speaking at the Turning Point USA event held at Indiana University, Tucker Carlson reiterated speculation about the origin of Bitcoin and claimed that BTC may have been created by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Carlson said he hasn’t invested in Bitcoin and won’t. He particularly avoids investing in things he doesn’t fully understand, especially those of dubious origin.

Carlson stated that at this point, it is not clear who Bitcoin’s mysterious founder, Satoshi Nakamoto, is and that he does not trust Bitcoin, and that this situation prevents him from investing in BTC.

“I try to limit myself to what I understand. To this day, no one has been able to explain who Satoshi Nakamoto really is.

This bothers me and that’s why I don’t plan on investing in Bitcoin.

At this point, I think Bitcoin may have been created by the CIA. That’s my guess. But I can’t prove it.”

Carlson also questioned why the billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin tied to Nakamoto’s accounts had remained untouched until now.

“Would you invest in something whose founder is unknown and controls billions of dollars of dormant Bitcoin?”

Carlson ultimately argued that Bitcoin was created by the CIA and attributed his decision not to invest in Bitcoin as a matter of trust and transparency.

According to on-chain data platform Arkham Intelligence, the wallet tagged with Satoshi Nakamoto holds 1.096 million BTC worth approximately $120 billion.

Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, was launched in 2009 by an anonymous individual or group using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.

While Nakamoto’s true identity remains a mystery, numerous theories have emerged about who he might be. This mystery surrounding BTC has also led to speculation, as Carlson has noted, that governments or large organizations are behind Bitcoin.
